Electromagnetic Spectrum

The electromagnetic spectrum, that includes all sort of electromagnetic radiation (from audio to gamma rays), is shown in the image below, in log scale. The radio waves comprise only a part of the spectrum. In particular, shortwave radio utilizes the so-called high frequency spectrum.
